As winter edges towards spring, the evenings on the Gold Coast are excellent for walking. Not hot and as the sun goes down quite visually striking.
I started my walk through the Broadwater Parklands close to the Aquatic Centre.

As I headed north, people were playing beach volleyball. In the background is Versace and Marina Mirage, both famous Gold Coast locations.

Continuing north and the sky was a mixture of blue and clouds.

Walking in this direction provides a great perspective of the Surfers Paradise skyline off in the distance.

Monument for fallen soldiers from the region.

The sun really started to set behind the girl sitting on the hill.

Then it was time to head south, with the sun setting to my left it made for pleasant walking.

Ending up pretty close to where I started.
