Just before the COVID-19 lockdown I discovered a new favourite. Jafa – a small, intimate neighbourhood pizza & wine bar. Given travel is pretty restricted at the moment, to the point crossing the state border isn’t even possible, it was decided the first place I would visit once restrictions were lifted enough for dining in would be Jafa.
Any place you can go to for a $120 bottle of wine definitely needs to offer the use of an ice bucket:

Starters were crackers and pate for myself together with a Peroni Red:

There were also polenta chips:

A very delicious pizza, paired with the equally delicious Pinot. It was the meatball pizza with a particularly nice onion jam:

The wine was great:

And of course, dessert (affogato) paired with a dessert wine:


So good I’m going back again on Saturday!
