The owners of Hellenika recently opened up a second venue, a rather high end Steak and Oyster restaurant in the same precinct of the Valley.
They also have a great range of cocktails too, of which I sipped a taste of both and they were excellent:


As I was driving, it was wine by the glass only. A particularly nice drop of 2016 Prophet’s Rock ‘Home Vineyard’ Pinot Noir Central Otago, NZ for $28 by the glass.

Main course was, naturally steak. I had an eye fillet, 160g / Petite Fillet, Black Angus which was $42 with sides of truffle mash, and sweet corn, and a red wine jus.

Not your $2 pub steak but it was a special occasion and it called for something special!
