City Winery – Brisbane

City Winery is the first inner-city winery in Brisbane since 1860. Winemaker David Cush is dedicated to making interesting wines sourcing grapes from all across Australia and the staff at City Winery share his passion.

I had on a previous trip to Brisbane tried their wine flight, from their lightest blend up to the heaviest.

So as I knew I’d be in Brisbane for a night, I booked a reservation for dinner.

The winery is in a converted warehouse, and has both a dining room and a cellar door.

To celebrate, I had a glass of sparkling:

Some delicious snapper:

And their Pino Gris:

The night though wouldn’t be complete without some delicious cheese to pair with more wine:

Five stars for the food, the wine and the service!

City Winery.
