A FUN part of travel is hunting for cool cocktail bars in a city you haven’t visited before. Research can help, but sometimes you can stumble upon somewhere through pure luck as happened when I visited Palma, Mallorca.
I first went to Why Not? Cocktail Bar in Carrer dels Apuntadors. Highly recommended! Excellent range of cocktails, small and intimate, and an enthusiastic owner who was great value. It was so good I went back at the end of the night for round 2. I had a Bitter Wife. Cheaper drinks than the place I went to next, and it was packed in and a lot of fun:

After Why Not? I ventured to the hidden, but apparently well known, Bar Abaco.
Hidden behind these doors:

Once inside, it’s a visual and audio feast of the senses with loud classical music, smartly attired older bat staff and amazing décor.

I had a Dry Martini and an Amaretto Sour. It was a heavy price to fork out but worth the experience.
