If you cross the Spanish border into Gibraltar by foot you have to cross the Gibraltar Airport runway. I didn’t take any photos of this as I had my head down hoping no planes would be landing any time soon.

The Rock is well visible from Spain and towers over your trip in to Gibraltar.

Once you’re over the runway and into Gibraltar the first thing you see is Winston Churchill Avenue.

After strolling down Winston Churchill Avenue, you come to the tunnels that take you into the heart of old Gibraltar.

Once you pass through the tunnels, you are into Grand Casemates Square, and your adventure in Gibraltar can begin.
